Dr. Pinchus (Phillip) Klahr, a licensed physician in the U.S. and Israel, specializes in Rheumatology, Allergy/Clinical Immunology,and Internal Medicine.
He made Aliayh in 2007, did his initial "observation work" for Israeli specialty recognition at Hadassah Ein Kerem medical center, and is currently a Rheumatologist and Allergist at Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
Dr. Klahr is recognized as a Board Certified expert in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and as a Board Certified expert in Allergy/Clinical Immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is also recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Health as an expert specialist in Rheumatology, Allergy, Clinical Immunology, and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Klahr earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by Residency in Internal Medicine at University of Connecticut Health Center.
His further experience included a Fellowship in Rheumatology at Stony Brook University Medical Center (new York) and a Fellowship in Allergy & Clinical Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine/ Barnes Jewish Hospital (St. Louis). He spent more than 9 years in a busy clinical and academic practice in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, and Allergy/Clinical Immunology, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. where he served as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine.
